WMS Mining Rights Census

Information provided by the General Directorate of Industry of the Government of the Canary Islands. The service consists of 4 groups of layers: — Section A: they mainly correspond to aggregate quarries. — Section B: this group shows the uptakes and perimeters of protection of mineral and thermal waters. — Sections C and D: within these two groups you can consult the Exploration Permits, Research Permits and Exploitation Concessions of the resources of Section C (mining resources with recognised industrial value) and Section D (energy resources). Within each of the groups the layers are classified according to the status of each right (in processing, granted or expired). The information is provisional, so to consult in detail the status of any file must contact the Mining Service of the General Directorate of Industry of the Government of the Canary Islands.
