WMS of the Hydrogeological Map of Spain at 1:200,000 scale of the IGME

The Hydrogeological Map of Spain continuous and in digital format at 1:200,000 scale is made from the lithostratigraphic map and permeability of Spain, continuous at 1:200,000 scale and represents the lithostratigraphic levels mapped, grouped by range of permeability and associated lithologies, and represented with a certain color and tone, so that it is possible to visualise on the map the areas associated with the different aquifers. Blue colors represent porous aquifers, fissured or karst green aquifers and browns represent impervious or low permeability formations. Productivity is represented by tone, in the case of permeable formations, dark tones indicate greater productivity and in the case of waterproof formations indicate greater impermeability. Given the scale of detail of this mapping, the availability of the entire national territory, and the impossibility of appreciating the detail it has on small scales, the information is only displayed from the visualisation scale indicated in the Capabilities file.
