WMS service in which the cartography of the Great landscape areas of Galicia is published. The map defines homogeneous landscape units in a territory of Galician complexity. The delimitation was based on the experience and methodology applied in the Plan del Litoral, and an intense fieldwork.The landscape areas of Galicia were defined according to the topography, which made it possible to clearly distinguish differentiated spaces such as mountains, plains, valleys and coastline; the climate, which made it possible to modulate differences between topographically similar spaces; and land use, which facilitated greater differentiation in terms of both the type of use and the degree of occupation.
