WMS (Web Map Service) Sub-basins of whole rivers classified according to modified Pfafstetter

The WMS Service (Web Map Service) called “Subbasins of whole rivers classified according to modified Pfafstetter” allows the visualisation and consultation of the data set representing subbasins of entire rivers, generated from the MDT cell 25 x 25 (CEDEX). The sub-basins obtained have been classified according to the Pfafstetter methodology modified from that used in the classification of stretches of rivers of Spain (hydrographic classification). The geographical information is polygonal of sub-basins of whole rivers, endorreic basins (basins that do not pour into the sea), interbasins (coastal basins between river mouths) and related data. The methodology applied to obtain this information and its application for the hydrographic classification of rivers in Spain according to the Pfafstetter method has been developed by CEDEX.
