El servicio permite realizar transformación de coordenadas de un punto o un conjunto de datos en formato GML de un Sistema de Referencia a otro. Este servicio soporta los datum ETRS89 y ED50, en coordenadas geográficas y en coordenadas UTM. El acceso o conexión a este servicio para obtener las funcionalidades para las que está pensado es gratuito en cualquier caso, siempre que se mencione la autoría del IGN como propietario del servicio del siguiente modo: «© Instituto Geográfico Nacional de España». Servicio de transformación de coordenadas conforme al estándar Web Processing Service versión 1.0.
