Daily Sales (Weekly IBS Information)

The statistics show the level and daily evolution of sales made by companies included in the Immediate Information Supply System (SII). Since its entry into force this system has made it possible to have more current sales data, daily compared to the monthly or quarterly data characteristic of VAT returns. Those obliged to fulfill their tax obligations through the SII are the Large Companies (those with a volume of transactions in the previous year exceeding 6 million euros), the VAT groups and the companies registered in the Monthly Return Register. Daily sales account for around 70 % of total domestic sales of all VAT taxpayers (the percentage is higher when considering the total volume of transactions declared). The publication is composed of a report and historical series since July 1, 2017. From the latter, conveniently treated, a sign of the economic situation is provided, which complements and anticipates the sales information contained in the tax collection reports and in the monthly statistics of Sales, Employment and Wages in Large Companies (VESGE) and in the quarterly Sales, Employment and Wages in Large Companies and SMEs (VESGEP).
