Dataset description

This collection of datasets contains all the observations generated by the network of environmental air quality observation processes of the city of Santiago de Compostela, installed by the TRAFAIR project, funded by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the European Commission (EC), through its Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program. Each dataset contains the observations generated during a specific year. Each record contains a reference to the identifier of the observed feature, i.e. the location where the observation was made, the time instant when the observation applies to the feature (phenomenon time), the time instant when the observation was generated (result time), i.e. when the calibration model as applied to the raw sensor data, the values of concentration for each pollutant measured in micrograms per cubic meter (ug/m3) and a reference to the identifier of the process used to generate each concentration (provenance metadata). The following pollutants are observed: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen monoxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3). A coverage measure provides the percentage of raw data available to apply the calibration model, with respect to the total expected for the 10 minutes period.
