Dataset description

Based on the Integrated System of Organ Management and Judicial Career, the present demographic study of the Judicial Career has been prepared since April 2009. The greater detail of the study has focused on judges and magistrates on active duty in the Judicial Career, as defined in Article 349 of the LOPJ, which states: 1. Judges and magistrates will be in active service when they occupy a position corresponding to the Judicial Career, when they are provisionally seconded, when they have been appointed as deputy judges, or when they have been granted temporary secondment. 2. Where a post of which a judge or magistrate is held is abolished or converted with a change of judicial order, the position shall be at the disposal of the President of the High Court of Justice, in accordance with the terms set out in Article 118(2) and 3.
