Dataset description

Law 4/1996 of 12 July 1996 on Hunting of Castile and Leon classifies the territory of Castile and Leon, for the purposes of hunting, on hunting grounds and non-cinegetical grounds. Among the former are the Hunting Areas that are defined as any continuous area of land susceptible to hunting use that has been declared and recognised as such, by decision of the competent body. In this data set we offer the list of Caza Cotos de Castilla y León (cotos currently in force together with those cancelled/extinguished), by province.
