Map of vulnerability to aquifer pollution

Map of vulnerability to pollution of aquifers in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country at 1:25,000 (year 1993). Carried out by the Department of Land Planning, Housing and Environment of the Basque Government. The basis of this mapping has been the map of permeability obtained from the geological map of the Basque Country at 1:25,000 (EVE) and the Hydrogeological Synthesis of the Basque Country (EVE for the Vice-Administration of the Environment of the Basque Government). The terms of the vulnerability map include a classification of the territory into five classes, from very high to very low vulnerability, in addition to areas where there is no appreciable vulnerability. In order to obtain this zone, the following were considered: permeability of materials, underground aquifers and spring areas to aquifer recharge zones.
