The data offered have been provided by the Mixed Company of Central Markets of Supply of Madrid, S.A. (MERCAMADRID) This set of data collects the accumulated volume in the year of the different products marketed in Mercamadrid, broken down by varieties and origins, as well as a reference of the cross-prices in transactions indicating the maximum price reached in the period, the minimum price of the period and the most frequent price, calculated as the average of the period of the daily taking of the most frequent price. The quotes or prices that record the products in the market are the result of the daily meeting of supply and demand and are fixed by direct negotiation of buyer and seller. Therefore, the prices indicated serve as a reference of the quotations recorded in the wholesale link in the distribution chain.
