Population according to Municipal Register of Inhabitants by municipalities, age groups and sex.

The Municipal Register is the administrative register where the residents of the municipality are present. Its formation, maintenance, review and custody corresponds to the respective municipalities, who carry out a continuous management of this registry, work that is coordinated at national level by the National Institute of Statistics. Each year we obtain the Revision of the Municipal Register with reference to January 1, which is approved by the Government on the proposal of the INE, following the favorable report of the Empadronamiento Council. The statistical exploitation carried out by the Statistical Institute of La Rioja of these figures, is made from the file derived from the INE’s standard database from which the proposal of the official figures is obtained, debugging the basic variables contained in the Padrón susceptible to statistical exploitation.
