Dataset description

The data on productive employment of inmates in prisons, grouped by Autonomous Communities, are presented, with the exception of that of Catalonia for having delegated the management of competences in penitentiary matters. All inmates who present this statistic receive a standard salary, of a monthly nature, for the performance of their activity. This salary is based on a remuneration module approved annually by the Board of Directors of the State Entity of Public Law Prison Work and Employment Training.
