Dataset description

The Plan develops the determinations of the Territorial Planning Guidelines in two ways: on the one hand, specifying and materialising the criteria in terms of the protection to be granted to the channels in order to avoid flooding in the different avenues of water and, on the other, establishing the criteria for protecting the margins of the canals in response to the ecological value of their coastal vegetation, in order to conclude in some criteria for the management of the different sections of each channel in terms of the different uses that could occur in their margins, mainly in relation to urban and building uses. Thus, one of the fundamental proposals of this Sectoral Territorial Plan is the division of all watercourses by sections of homogeneous problems and their zoning based on the analysis of three components: environmental, hydraulic and urban planning.
