Dataset description

The model presented is based on Factors (4) and Variables (9). The fundamental difference that exists between both groups of data is that the Variables have a greater representativeness or provide fundamental values that the discipline coincides in pointing out as demonstrative of the situations of greatest weakness and disadvantage. On the other hand, the Factors what they do is collect or incorporate nuances that can help highlight complementary aspects. On the other hand, the quality of the data that constructs the variables is higher than that of the factors, both in temporality and in aggregation scale. To reflect the importance of Factors and Variables, a weighting is used. The weighting has been taken simply equal to the number of elements that are integrated, in each of the two cases. Approaching the level of each of the groups, weights are established for each of the components that integrate them. These weights have emerged after an assessment by the research team regarding the quality of the data and the representativeness that it was intended to have in the final result of the indicators, dimensions and typologies. On the other hand, in order to have vulnerability indices disaggregated by dimensions, residential dimensions (IVR), socio-economic (IVse) and socio-demographic (IVSD) dimensions have been considered. These group the factors and variables that are their own, where appropriate, and the corresponding indices are also reflected as non-negative values with two integer figures at most, when they come standardised according to the weights and weights that affect them. TYPES OF VULNERABILITY: Comprehensive Vulnerability: when in the 3 dimensions it exceeds the 66th percentile; Average polyvulnerability: when in 2 dimensions it exceeds the 66th percentile; Low polyvulnerability: when in 1 dimension it exceeds the 66th percentile. Statistical data from the INE have been used for census sections.
