Dataset description

List of Spanish authors whose works are in the National Library of Spain and that pass into the public domain in 2023 (because the author died in 1942), so they can be edited, reproduced or disseminated publicly. Each year this list is studied and drawn up according to the information contained in the BNE’s catalogues, and a selection of works is digitised to be made publicly available in the Hispanic Digital Library, the portal that gives access to the library’s digitised funds. * Printable distribution in XLSX includes: date of birth and death, name, place of birth and links to the author and his works in our bibliographic catalogue, our linked data portal and our digital library (Hispanic Digital Library). * Distributions in JSON, ODS, TXT, XML, and CSV include all data from our authority records for each person according to [authorities mapping](http://www.bne.es/media/datosgob/catalogo-autoridades/Mapeo_Autoridades_Publicar.xlsx). It is an open and collaborative list, so anyone interested can help its elaboration by proposing the correction of errors. How to cite the set: Title of the data set. [Data set]. Version of DDMMAAAA.
