Spanish Bibliography of Monographs (2007)

The Spanish Bibliography of Monographs collects the bibliographic records of the books that enter the National Library through the Legal Deposit. It contains bibliographic records of printed monographs and electronic resources of textual and multimedia content that are subject to legal deposit. It does not include textbooks for early and primary education or publications considered minor. The online version has a monthly frequency of the current year with 12 annual numbers and is accessible online. On the one hand, the data are presented in original format (MARC and MARC-XML), ISO 2709: format of exchange and integration of bibliographic information in automated environments). And on the other hand, the data mapped in CSV, JSON, ODS, TXT and XML formats. To publish these datasets a mapping of the records of our catalog, encoded in origin in MARC format has been carried out. For each record type, a series of MARC fields and subfields have been set to retrieve and display, and a literal has been defined to describe the data being displayed. In addition, in order to respect the navigation functionalities of Spanish Online Bibliography, a number of specific fields have been established to help filter records.
