Worship Places Directory

The Observatory of Religious Pluralism in Spain is an initiative of the Ministry of Justice, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Pluralism and Coexistence Foundation. The Directory of places of worship is a tool for the identification and spatial location of places of worship of the different religious denominations with implantation in the Spanish State. The data it collects come from three sources: the Register of Religious Entities of the Ministry of Justice (date of last update: 10-12-2015), the investigations promoted by the Pluralism and Coexistence Foundation, and the applications for registration, deletion or modification of data communicated by representatives of religious communities. The publication of data in this Directory is for information purposes only; it has no legal effect. Religious entities acquire legal personality only through their registration in the Register of Religious Entities of the Ministry of Justice, and only the data contained therein have legal relevance. The address published in this Directory will not be legally valid nor will it be taken into account for the purpose of notifications if it does not coincide with that in the Register of Religious Entities.
