Share of the area’s households with broadband access of at least 100 megabits per second. PTS (Post- och Telestyrelsen) requests documentation on coverage of access technicians from interested parties, the documentation is then matched with the Real Estate Register. The collected data together with a number of assumptions form the basis for the mapping. For access to really high speeds, 100 Mbps in favorable conditions and at least 50 Mbit/s in a hurry hour, wired access technologies in the form of fibre or cable television networks are now required.
