Dataset description

NMD Land Use is an additional layer within National Land Cover Data. This additional layer consists of three separate raster layers in 10 m resolution: — Pasture land (from LPIS, Swedish Board of Agriculture) — Power line (from real estate map, Lantmäteriet) — Landscaped areas (from Statistics Sweden’s infrastructure object) The NMD consists of a base mapping of 25 thematic classes in three hierarchical levels. The mapping is in raster format at 10 meters resolution and with a minimum mapping unit down to 0.01 hectares. In addition to the base mapping, the following additional layers are included: — object height and coverage productivity (forest productivity) — land use — low mountain forest For base mapping and other additional layers there are separate metadata descriptions and download services.
