A zoning plan regulates the buildings within a particular area or property. It indicates, among other things, where houses may be placed, how high they may be and what they may be used for. A zoning plan governs both the building permit and the previous property formation.Planmosaics consists of geo-referred raster images of each plan that are cut at the level boundary. When the raster images are on top of each other in order of age, the parts of the plans that are no longer valid are covered and the image that is visible becomes a mosaic of all the current plan elements.To make it easier to understand what applies in a place, the data set also contains plan area boundaries for detailed plans, city plans, building plans, general plan, plot divisions, property plans, changes to the detailed plan and partition plans.The boundaries between the relevant plan parts are shown as blue lines and in the middle of each such area the plan designation is shown as text. In some cases, the areas are so small that the text is next to the surface and then there are helplines that connect text to surface. The plan types Change to the detailed plan, Property plan and plot division are not included as a cut raster picture as they are merely a change or addition to the underlying plan and do not replace the plan as a whole. These are displayed as scattered surfaces and in the middle the plan designation is displayed as text.Ongoing planning is shown as red cracked surfaces with the plan designation in the middle.Plan programs are displayed as green shredded surfaces with the plan designation in the middle.Resolution of the raster images: 8 cm/pixel
