Dataset description

An orthophoto of Stockholm consists of hundreds of aerial images. Aerial images are processed so that perspective and measurement errors are minimised to get a scalable image. The scalable images are then put together into a mosaic. Applications: Orthophotos can be used, for example, for planning and designing or visualisations. The different vintages can be used for comparison studies. They are also suitable for printing and can be co-presented with other map products. Flight height: m, resolution: 20 cm/pixel in orthophoto. Orectified images disappeared. This orthophoto is only available as raster pyramid in dpMap. Contains geometric defects and shall not be measured in.
