Dataset description
Agglomerations are concentrated settlements with at least 200 inhabitants. SCB draws up boundaries for agglomerations using register data, such as the SCB’s register of total population (RTB), the SCB’s business register and the land survey map and coordinate building registers. Open geo-data are shown as polygons and until 2015 agglomerations have been updated every five years. Since 2016 they are updated every three years.
