Dataset description
The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority has sampled moose meat for the measurement of caesium-137 in muscle tissue in two areas since the Chernobyl accident in 1986. In the current program, concentrations are measured only in one area. Data from these measurements are available via the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority’s website. The map shows the general geographical location of the sampling area. For individual samples, there may be specific coordinates.
