Dataset description

The data product Tavla (not ATC) describes the location and design of boards in the Swedish railway network. Train traffic is controlled by optical signals and boards where the signals give the train driver driving clearance and the boards provide other necessary information. The boards provide train drivers with information of all kinds, mainly about the part of the track in which they are entering. The main groups of paintings described by Do not ATC are: •Audio signal boards provide the driver with instructions on the audible signals to be given. •Disconnection, disconnection and plug-in boards are used in protective sections of the overhead contact line. •Recess boards •Offboard, Endpoint Board, Dwarf Signal Endboard and Invalidity Board. •Plog Lifting Board, Slope Viewer •Hinderboard, Main Signal Board, Stop Ban Board •Electroal lock signals, Marking boards •ATC related paintings •Orienteering boards (most orientation boards) The main attributes of Tavla (not ATC) are: • Type Information type provided by the board • Direction validity In which direction is given in the longitudinal direction of the track. • Info on the board The information on the board is indicated if necessary The data product has a point spread and connects to the network with reference to the nearest previous node and nearest previous kilometre board with distance in meters in the direction of the track link and indicating the side position of the object in relation to the direction of the track link (right|left|both).
