LST Wetlands General Staff Map

GIS-Shikt of historical wetlands at the Generalstabskartan, Southern Work. The layer is automatically generated by an AI (a convolutional neural network), which learned how wetland is symbolised in the map of Jönköping County, and then that knowledge was applied to the entire Generalstab map of the southern work. The layer can be used for estimates of historical wetland area in larger areas. For visualisation and smaller local analyses, the material should be used together with the General Staff Map as there may be large local discrepancies between modern maps and the General Staff Map.
