Dataset description
MR.Mineral resources contain nationwide information about mineral resources in Sweden in order to meet Inspire’s data specification for the Mineral Resources theme. The data set is developed and harmonised according to specifications from various EU projects, including Minerals4EU and ProSUM and contains information on mineral deposits, mines, mining waste and production. The data set is based on SGU’s mineral resource database (point data on mineral and rock occurrences), as well as supplementary compilations of, among other things, metal concentrations and tonnage for larger fields of mineral deposits from SGU’s ore database.
