Dataset description

The daily acctalised **count data** is collected by the Civil Engineering Office of the City of Zurich in its own direction. The counting points are distributed across the city area. The locations are also available via the [Geodatenportal](https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/geodaten/download/Standorte_der_automatischen_Fuss__und_Velozaehlungen) and can be linked via the attribute FK_ZAEHLER. The **Velo Traffic** is recorded by means of **induction loops** embedded in the road surface. **Foot traffic** is counted by **passive infrared radiation**.
