Dataset description

This layer represents, in the building area, the minimum distance of construction, as well as its derogations, from the forest boundary and as provided for in the Forests and Protection against Natural Disasters Act (LFCN). According to Article 26 of the CNLA, the minimum distance for construction is 20 m from the legalised boundary of the forest. Article 24 of the Regulation on Forests and Protection against Natural Disasters (RFCN) provides for exceptions to this minimum abstract and general distance of 20 m, which are then determined and fixed in the municipalities’ LAPs. This layer is currently under construction and is not yet complete for all the municipalities of the canton.
