Dragonflies — Inventory (1984)

The inventory areas were eliminated on the map 1:25'000. The observations are also localised on this map basis and recorded in a 4thDimension database. The surfaces were digitised from screen. For inventory objects, which were only recorded as a point, circular surfaces with a diameter of 50 meters were automatically generated. Subsequently, the observation data was transferred to a GIS point dataset and linked to the surfaces. As linking criteria, the spatial superposition or/and comparable attribute values of nearby objects were taken into account. The dragonfly inventory therefore consists of two data sets: • Inventory areas • Observation points in the inventory areas
