Dataset description
The Water Protection Map is a key instrument for territorial planning and the application of legal provisions. The map divides the cantonal territory according to whether or not groundwater resources are present. The closer one is to water collected (drinking water), the higher the risk of contamination and the greater the land use constraints. The water protection map includes the following elements: •groundwater protection zones S1 (capture zone), S2 (close protection zone) and S3 (remote protection zone) •temporary groundwater protection zones S0 •surface protection perimeters SA •water protection areas Au and Ao • Zu and Zo feeding areas •other sectors Üb
