Orthophoto Spring (believe-free) RGB/Infrared 2021/22 In addition to purchasing via GIS browser order, it is also possible to obtain the data via a direct file download under the directory maps.zh.ch/download. Notes for digitising from orthophotos: 1. All objects lying on the ground (e.g. roads, paths, markings, shafts) can be digitised with a precision of 1-2 pixels (± 5-10 cm). If the orthophoto is used in the official survey, then only not exactly defined points can be digitised. 2. The bridges are not included in the terrain model and would therefore not be mapped correctly, but have been manually corrected and are therefore positionally correct. 3. Roof surfaces are not part of the terrain model. Therefore, roofs are not mapped correctly. Due to the oblique view in the original image, roofs can cover the nearby, below ground. 4. Stairs in underpasses are not part of the terrain model and are therefore not mapped correctly. 5. Trees are not included in the terrain model and their location is therefore not depicted correctly in the orthophoto. This must be taken into account when digitising tree apples (for applications outside the AV). (more information in the PDF under “Data base”)
