The map includes the rental value categories of the canton of Bern per municipality or municipal districts. The rental value category represents the average rent level of a municipality, or a municipality in comparison with the other municipalities, or municipal districts in the canton of Bern. The rental value categories are an essential basis for the determination of official values (asset tax values) and own rental values (income tax values) in the Canton of Bern.
