Dataset description

The State of official measurements is characterised by three fundamental concepts: — Advancement of measurement companies — The status of geodata — The quality of geodata These three concepts depend on the company in question. An official measurement company represents an entity that allows the administrative management of the official measurements. In particular, a company shall contain information on the volume of work, the apportionment of costs between the Confederation and the Canton, the deadlines and the scope(s) of the lot(s). A company is opened and then recognised at the end of the public inquiry that closes the work, by decisions of the Federal Directorate of Cadastral Measurements. A company provides valuable information on the quality of geodata that is disseminated. The status that can be found both as an attribute of the “Status” data and as an attribute of companies “Business Status” serves to characterise the geodata made available. The values used differ depending on whether current land ownership, projected land ownership or descriptive data are considered. The layers of the statutes also describe the geodata made available which do not belong to the Client within the meaning of the 1993 legal bases. The MO quality standards are represented in three distinct layers. — Quality of the buildings in force; — Quality of the planned buildings; — Quality of descriptive data. The first layer represents the quality standard of buildings that have been the subject of a first survey and are registered in the land register. This data can also be visualised through the Plan RF application. It is possible that the data from the MO is available to the MO93 standard and that its recognition to the RF is being realised. This data is then represented in the second layer of information as a quality standard for the projected buildings. This information is important in many areas of application for which the quality of geodata premiums on their legal status. This data can also be viewed through the Plan MO application. The information contained in the measurements documents provides information on the characteristics of the land. However, they do not benefit from the effects attached to the land register. Descriptive geodata can be rectified at any time and without any formal requests. They appear in this third layer and can be visualised both through the Plan RF application and through the Plan MO application.
