Dataset description

Amounts received by UK beneficiaries under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The information is published annually (30th April) to meet the requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) No 259/2008. The details included relate to all CAP scheme payments, including the Single Payment Scheme (SPS), made to beneficiaries. In the UK there are 4 accredited Paying Agencies: the Rural Payments Agency (RPA), the Scottish Government Rural Payments & Inspections Directorate (SGRPID), the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) in Northern Ireland. These bodies may delegate certain functions to other bodies, but are responsible for accounting for all payments under CAP schemes. Search results show which Paying Agency has responsibility for the payments.
