Dataset description

The Marine Monitoring Method Finder brings together a wide range of monitoring guidelines and procedures, and makes them readily available for use via a spreadsheet tool and search bar on our website. These guidelines and procedures represent standards and advice recognised by the JNCC. All guidelines and procedures are published by government agencies, expert panels, collaborative working groups, international standards groups and universities. The vast majority have been reviewed by multiple government agencies and industry experts. Where gaps exist in this knowledge, JNCC is developing revisions to fill the gaps. Please note that the Marine Monitoring Method Finder was last updated in 2017, prior to the launch of JNCC's new website. Whilst every effort has been made to redirect material to the relevant content on the new website, some of the links may no longer work. It will be updated in due course to reflect the new content.
