Dataset description

Extract from the Library Management System (LMS) showing the libraries' catalogue of titles held in the collections. Due to a change of LMS in 2018 different fields are available from 2018 onwards. Additional information ---------------------- ### 2019- data biblionumber = unique number attached to title by our system when creating the title record isbn = International Standard Book Number, attached to title by publisher copyrightdate = year from which copyright is claimed for the title (usually when it is published) author = name of the main author of the work title = main title as on title page or equivalent price = price of 1 copy editionstatement = edition or version of the work itemcallnumber = indication of where the item is located; often contains main classification publishercode = name of the publisher datecreated = date when the title record was created Copies = number of copies in stock for that biblionumber ### 2016-2017 data rcn = control number, unique number attached to title by our system when reading ISBN barcode (N* number if no barcode) isbn = International Standard Book Number, attached to title by publisher publ_y = year the title was published author = name of the main author of the work title = main title as on title page or equivalent price = price of 1 copy langua = main language of the work. Note: for most works in English the language is not specified. editio = edition or version of the work class = main classification allocated by library staff or by the supplier for the title publisher = name of the publisher firstcopydate = date the first copy was added. Note: field rarely used. acpy = number of copies in stock for that ISBN
