NPCA Third Annual Report 2016 The National Prostate Cancer Audit is commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit Programme in response to the need for better information about the quality of prostate cancer services and care provided to men in England and Wales. The Third Annual Report includes: 1. Results of the first year of the prospective audit for men diagnosed with prostate cancer between 1st April 2014 and 31st March 2015 in England. 2. Results of the prospective audit in Wales, where NPCA data collection started one year later, for men diagnosed between 1st April 2015 – 31st September 2015. 3. Patient-reported outcomes and experience measures (PROMs and PREMs) following radical local treatment of prostate cancer were collected using a survey distributed to individual patients in England 18 months after diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
