Road traffic counts

Data on national, cantonal or third-party road traffic counting stations and associated measured values (average daily traffic, percentage of heavy goods vehicles, etc.). Traffic data collected as part of the cantonal five-year counting campaigns are also integrated. This information serves in particular as basic data for road network planning, noise cadastre or road safety. Average daily traffic values are carried over to road sections only for counts carried out in the context of the five-year cantonal campaigns. For detailed information on a count, it is necessary to point to the position related to the section under examination.
