Dataset description

This data set provides a comprehensive list of brownfield sites across the Waverley Borough Council administrative area that are considered to be suitable, available and achievable for housing-led development, irrespective of planning status. The data set was produced in accordance with the Town & Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017 which introduced a new duty for local planning authorities to prepare, maintain and publish a register of brownfield land (previously developed land) which is suitable for residential development. The register must be published by 31 December 2018 and reviewed at least once a year.
